Are you a pharmacy undergraduate student currently enrolled on an MPharm degree programme and currently in 3rd Year? Then this 2-week placement could be just the job.

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our 100 strong pharmacy team, providing patient focused service to the acute hospitals and community units. We provide services to a range of specialities including paediatrics, haematology, oncology, cardiology, surgery and renal dialysis.

This is an opportunity to work under the supervision of experienced specialist pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and visit the different sections of the pharmacy department. Examples of the work you may be involved with include; conducting audits, producing IV monographs, reviewing & developing clinical guidelines and undertaking new drug reviews.

You will need to be a confident communicator with a responsible attitude, highly motivated to pursue a career in hospital pharmacy and willing to learn from the team you will be working with.

This is an ideal opportunity to start a career in hospital pharmacy. As well as providing you with relevant experience to equip you for the future, you will be able to broaden your horizons and start to develop your professional career.

These posts are especially suitable for those students based in the York & Scarborough areas, as it is not possible to provide hospital accommodation.

Applicant requirements
