The Gastroenterology departments in York and Scarborough are going through an exciting period of growth and looking for dynamic individuals to help shape the future of gastroenterology services. The Trust is open to discussions with suitable candidates in order to develop flexible job plans that meet individual needs and develop services across both sites to allow your place of residence to remain flexible.

Candidates must have a higher medical qualification (MRCP or equivalent) and be on the GMC Specialist Register for G(I)M and Gastroenterology or be within 12 months of obtaining the CCT at the time of the interview. Your clinical skills and expertise will be of a high standard covering both Gastroenterology and General Internal Medicine. A familiarity with issues of service organisation and development would be particularly advantageous.
