Experience is not essential as we will offer you a full supportive training package for the right candidate.
We are a busy department who offers support services to our colleagues based on the wards at York Hospital and in our outpatient environment we employ over 30 phlebotomists. Although the team are based at York Hospital, our staff can also work at Selby War Memorial, ASDA at Monks Cross, Sherburn Medical Centre and Tadcaster Medical Centre.
We are a busy team and see over 240,000 patients per year.
The ability to transport yourself and equipment across the local area during the course of a normal working day is desirable for this role.
