…to help make us a valued and trusted partner within our care system, that delivers safe effective care to our local population.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for dynamic and motivated registered nurses to join the Day Unit and Extended Stay Area. We are looking for enthusiastic, forward thinking and highly motivated nurses with a genuine interest in pre and post anaesthetic care to join our dynamic and friendly team.
The successful candidates will be nurses who are patient-centred focused and believe that patient experience and safety is central to the care they deliver. We are looking for individuals who are flexible, innovative and dynamic in outlook with a keen sense of team working and eager to learn.
The day unit and extended stay area offers excellent opportunities to expand your experience in surgical nursing and provides experience in treating a wide range of surgical conditions. Working in this highly motivated team will give you sound decision making skills and you will be offered development opportunities within this enthusiastic and well led team.
You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of care whilst caring for a group of patients under the direction of the senior nurse. Surgical experience is desirable but not essential.
We would welcome any interested parties to contact us to discuss these positions further and to arrange an informal visit if desired.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
Applications from job seekers who require Tier 2 sponsorship to work in the UK are welcome and will be considered alongside all other applications. However, non-EEA candidates may not be appointed to a post if a suitably qualified, experienced and skilled EU/EEA candidate is available to take up the post as the employing body is unlikely, in these circumstances, to satisfy the resident labour market test. UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) requires employers to complete this test to show that no suitably qualified EEA or EU worker can fill the post. For further information please visit the UKVI website. From 6 April 2017, Tier 2 skilled worker applicants, applying for entry clearance into the UK, must present a criminal record certificate from each country they have resided continuously or cumulatively for 12 months or more in the past 10 years. Adult dependants (over 18 years old) will also be subject to this requirement. Guidance can be found here Criminal Records Checks for Overseas Applicants.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
