York Hospital is looking to recruit a self-motivated, flexible, hardworking and caring Band 6 MRI Specialist Radiographer with proven MRI experience. We would also welcome applications from Radiographers who are able to demonstrate a genuine interest in moving into MRI. The successful applicant must be HCPC registered and full training will be provided where required.
Radiology at York Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundations Trust is a forward thinking department, committed to staff development and the provision of an effective and efficient imaging service. Within our small multidisciplinary MRI Team support staff and Radiographers undertake extended scope of practice. The MRI service here at York is provided by 2 1.5T Siemens Area scanners. We undertake a large and varied case mix over an extended working day.
Applicants who do not demonstrate evidence of current relevant CPD will not be considered in the selection process.
The successful applicant will currently be required to participate in Saturday morning duties, which will extend to a 7 day working rota in the future.
