York Teaching Hospitals’ Catering Department are offering an exciting opportunity for someone to become a Kitchen Team Leader. We provide quality, freshly cooked food to our patients and visitors at our sites in York, Bridlington and Selby Hospital.

We are looking for someone with kitchen experience who has a passion for delivering quality food. This is a fantastic development opportunity for a Chef looking to take a step into kitchen management. We have in-house training to help with your personal development plans and will support you with all of your training. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring that Food Safety and Health & Safety legislation is adhered to at all times. You will also have a key role in staff management and budget control.
