An opportunity has arisen for an apprentice finance Clerical Officer to work in the Accounts Payable section of the Finance Department. This is a great training and development opportunity for the right candidate.
You will be responsible for providing support to the Accounts Payable Team in the processing and payment of invoices. You will also be trained to carry out basic accounting tasks to support other members of the financial services team.
The successful candidate will have good computer skills, particularly Word and Excel and will be educated to GCSE Level or equivalent, wih Maths and English at C or above. You will be self disciplined and able to organise your own workload and will be able to communicate with customers and employees on all levels. Some knowledge of accounts payable processes would be desirable.

Please note the salary for this apprentice post is dependent upon your age at the point of commencing as an apprentice. The current minimum wage rate for an apprentice is £3.70 per hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year of the apprenticeship. You will be paid at least the minimum wage rate for your age if you are an apprentice aged 19 or over and have completed your first year.
