An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Business Manager in the Medical Education Centre at York Teaching Hospital.

The post holder will fulfil a key role in supporting the Medical Education Manager in overseeing and implementing the Trust’s postgraduate, GP and on-going medical education programs, in line with local and national professional standards.

The post holder will work closely with the Senior Medical Education Team, Training Programme Directors and administration staff to ensure that a programme of high quality education and support is provided to all Medical and Dental trainees.

The post holder will be expected to deputise for the operational management of the Medical Education team in the absence of the Medical Education Manager.

Candidates should have a sound understanding and experience of Postgraduate Medical Education and the NHS training schemes for doctors. Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
