An exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior registered nurse to join a cross-site Skin Cancer Nursing Team. This is an ideal opening for an experienced registered nurse to further their career in the field of skin cancer nursing.
The successful applicant will primarily be based in York, but would need to work across all sites within the York Trust. The post-holder will play a key role within the Multidisciplinary team, acting as patient advocate in the treatment and decision making process providing holistic information and support. They will have the clinical knowledge and skills to provide highly specialised advice to patients and carers, they will act as a resource to other healthcare professionals. They will ensure the highest quality of care throughout the patient journey, and will support service development. They will need to be aware of local and national agendas and take part in education and training. There is also a requirement to contribute to research and to take part in audit. This is an exciting career move for a dynamic individual.
Please note: Experience in Dermatology is not essential.
