Hours: 37.5 hours per week
York Hospital is a large district hospital with 8 cardiologists and 4 Respiratory Physicians. The Cardio-Respiratory department offers a full range of invasive and non-invasive tests including ECG, ambulatory monitoring, exercise testing, pacemaker and high voltage device implant and follow up, diagnostic angiography and percutaneous coronary intervention, and echocardiography (including Stress and transoesophageal echocardiography).
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated Band 7 Cardiac Physiologist to join our Pacing and Invasive team. Applicants should have either a degree in Cardiac Physiology or equivalent. This is also a great developmental post for an experienced band 6 wishing to further their career. STP Student (Pacing/Invasive) due to complete their training and qualify in 2018 will also be considered. Applicants should have, or be actively working towards BHRS professional accreditation. The department is committed to continuing professional development with many staff undertaking post graduate and professional qualifications.
The successful Candidate will be expected to cover the on-call rota.
