Contract Type - Permanent
Hours - 10 hours. Working Monday to Friday (5pm till 7pm)
The post-holder will work as an integrated member of the Estates and Facilities Team. The role will be cleaning duties.
The successful applicant will need to be flexible in their approach to team working.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate the ability to be adaptable and flexible, use initiative, be self-motivated and have strong interpersonal, organisational/time management skills, and have a good basic level of education.
Previous experience/knowledge of customer service, cleaning and health and safety are preferred, as is the ability to undertake instruction and training relevant to the post.
Applicants must be able to work under pressure, prioritise their own workload and be able to carry out physical tasks.
As a Cleaning Operative you will be responsible for providing the cleaning duties in line with set frequencies and guidelines. Relevant check lists and records of duties carried out will also need to be completed.
Full training will be provided, to enable the post-holder to become fully proficient.
Annual leave entitlement (paid) for this post is 54 hours per year.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
