Estates & Facilities Secretary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Estates & Facilities Directorate and we are looking to appoint a Secretary to join our Estates & Facilities departments at Scarborough Hospital.

Situated within the Estates & Facilities departments and reporting to the Administration Manager, you will be providing administrative support to the Estates and Facilities Managers and their teams in the daily operational running of the departments.

You will work closely with the Heads of Estates & Facilities linking in to the day to day operational management and corporate functions of the busy E&F Directorate.

You will be required to work as part of a team but also exercise initiative on your own within set parameters. You will have previous administration experience and have the enthusiasm and willingness to learn quickly. Good organisational skills and attention to detail will be important. You will have excellent written and communication skills.

The post holder will be required to attend meetings and take minutes.

The post holder must be computer literate preferably with an interest in data inputting, being able to produce graphs when required, interrogating information on our online portals and updating directorate information internal web pages.

From time to time there maybe a need and opportunity for travel across all of our sites although the main base for this role will be Scarborough Hospital.

There will be opportunities to further develop your knowledge and skills.
